BAREFOOT MASSAGE INSTRUCTOR, FOUNDER - FLORIDA

Katie Reschny, LMT

I am the co-founder of The Elm Massage + Bodywork and through growing my business and team The LMT Refinery was born. Through my nearly two decades as a massage therapist, and experiences of teaching and employing massage therapist I discovered many massage schools are not equipping their students to be successful. This has left a lot of gaps to be filled for massage therapists, and I strive to have a positive impact on the massage industry as whole; through quality continued education, compassionate leadership, and effective communication. With these goals in mind we collectively came together to create a community for massage professionals to learn, grow, and thrive. I look forward inspiring you towards a long, healthy, fulfilling career.

NEUROMUSCULAR THERAPY INSTRUCTOR, FLORIDA

Meridith Glass, LMT

Massage is my passion. I have spent much of my career immersed in Neuromuscular Therapy, Cranial Sacral Therapy and through the years I have found my niche in the tiny details. My primary focus on on cranium, anterior neck, jaw, diaphragm, psoas, and abdomen, and found that these hands on techniques pair beautifully with the broadness of barefoot massage to bring a well rounded deeply therapeutic approach to my clients, and therapists alike.

BAREFOOT MASSAGE INSTRUCTOR + SOMATIC SPECIALIST, FLORIDA

Mandy Pirie, LMT

I truly feel that massage is the art of human connection. My approach centers on creating a safe space for clients to restore both physical and emotional health. After learning Barefoot Ashiatsu years ago, it became the foundation of my practice. Barefoot massage, somatic healing and mindful breath work is the ultimate trifecta in my bodywork sessions. Through teaching, I hope to inspire curiosity, play and a love of continued learning in the massage community.

BAREFOOT MASSAGE INSTRUCTOR, ALASKA

Kristin Tri, LMT

Teaching Barefoot Massage became a goal early on in my career for several reasons, including the accessibility to small, in-person continuing education in Alaska and the desire to make Barefoot Massage a commonly known modality in the state. Barefoot Massage saved my career; I have hyperextension in my hands that caused pain very early in massage school. When I started exploring my options, teaching with LMT Refinery was the obvious choice. The kind, positive, and "meet you where you're at" approach to Barefoot Massage Training that Katie has established with LMT Refinery resonates with my mentor nature. I enjoy not only the mechanics and application of Barefoot Massage but also the unique opportunity it presents to therapists to specialize and stand out in this modality.

I am the owner and founder of Solstice Bodywork By Tri Barefoot Massage, located in Anchorage, Alaska. I graduated from the Therapeutic Massage Program at Alaska Career College in 2016. In January 2017, I attended my first Barefoot Massage training. As of January 2019, I have exclusively offered Barefoot Massage.
