NCBTMB Approved Provider
Alaska Barefoot Massage Training Hub
The LMT Refinery’s Alaska Barefoot Massage Hub is located in Eagle River, Alaska and led by instructor Kristin Tri, LMT. Kristin teaches our 3-Day Intro to Barefoot Massage class, a live, hands-on, NCBTMB-approved continuing education course for licensed massage therapists.
Designed for therapists who are new to Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage or want to strengthen their foundation, this 24 hour-CE class teaches you how to use the feet as a practical, approachable tool for deep, effective bodywork. You will learn body mechanics, overhead bar use, safety, client positioning, and full-body barefoot massage techniques you can immediately bring into practice.
Kristin’s classes are taught in small groups with plenty of individual attention, making Eagle River a welcoming place to learn whether you are brand new to barefoot massage or already have experience. Students often appreciate the combination of practical instruction, supportive feedback, and the beautiful Alaska setting.
Located just outside of Anchorage, Eagle River offers a unique opportunity to combine continuing education with a visit to Alaska’s mountains, trails, and natural beauty.
The LMT Refinery is based inside The Elm Massage + Bodywork in Palm Harbor, Florida with additional barefoot massage hubs in Alaska, Michigan, and Minnesota. More advanced classes may be added to our Alaska location in the future.
“I just took my first barefoot massage class at LMT Refinery Alaska with Kristin, and I’m so glad I did! She was such an informative and down-to-earth instructor who made the class both fun and approachable. It was a fantastic continuing education experience that left me feeling inspired and excited to keep learning. I can already see how barefoot massage will help me support my clients—and myself—in living a more relaxed, less stressed, and better balanced life. I can’t wait to continue growing these new skills!”
